Gestionada por el municipio de Rada Tilly, el ANP Punta Marqu\u00e9s se crea con la finalidad de proteger los recursos faun\u00edsticos y esc\u00e9nicos en cercan\u00edas de dicha localidad, estableci\u00e9ndose por Ordenanza Municipal (609\/84) en el a\u00f1o 1984 el inter\u00e9s de proteger el apostadero de lobos marinos de un pelo (Otaria flavescens<\/em>) ubicado al pie del acantilado y su interacci\u00f3n con las personas.<\/p>

Ya en el a\u00f1o 1985 se crea por Ley Provincial (2580) la Reserva Natural Tur\u00edstica Punta Marqu\u00e9s, incorpor\u00e1ndose al Sistema Provincial de \u00c1reas Protegidas de Chubut, m\u00e1s austral de la provincia con un \u00e1rea de protecci\u00f3n costera delimitada por 500m a la redonda del apostadero de lobos marinos.<\/p>

En la actualidad, seg\u00fan los criterios de clasificaci\u00f3n suministrada por la UICN (Uni\u00f3n Mundial para la Conservaci\u00f3n de la Naturaleza) se defini\u00f3 al ANP Punta Marqu\u00e9s como Categor\u00eda V: Paisaje Terrestre y Marino Protegido (\u00e1rea protegida manejada principalmente para la conservaci\u00f3n de paisajes terrestres y marinos, con fines recreativos); y su principal objetivo es: \u201cconservar los atributos y cualidades naturales y culturales a largo plazo y, los procesos evolutivos y ecol\u00f3gicos establecidos\u201d.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Managed by Rada Tilly City Hall , the NPA Punta Marqu\u00e9s was created with the aim of protecting wildlife and scenic resources in the area.  In 1984, the City Hall , by law, ( 609\/ 84 )  established  the interest of protecting the apostadero of  one-haired sea lions  (Otaria flavescens) located at the foot of the cliff and their interaction with people.<\/em><\/p>\n

In 1985, the Punta Marqu\u00e9s Tourist Nature Reserve was created by Provincial Law (2580), joining the Provincial System of Protected Areas of Chubut. It is the most    southern of the province with a coastal protection in an area of  500 m along the h\u00e1bitat of the sea wolves.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/em>
